April 13th - 2nd Annual Rider Cup Classic
Join the 2012 LIVESTRONG Texas 4000 team for a day of fun and friendly competition at the beautiful Teravista Golf Club. This Texas 4000 tournament will create a truly spectacular golf experience as well as present the opportunity to meet the riders from the 2012 team and get to know the next generation of cancer fighters. All proceeds from this event will go towards the fight against cancer!

May 26th - Hope Day
The Texas 4000 team rides to spread Hope, Knowledge, and Charity from Texas to Alaska. They raise funds for cancer research and support services and put on programs in communities along their ride to fulfill the Knowledge and Charity pillars of our mission, but the ride itself is what inspires Hope to everyone they reach. Come out to celebrate with the 2012 LIVESTRONG Texas 4000 team and find out who inspires them and why they ride. Enjoy a day of family, friends, and community and join the team to spread the message that cancer can be beaten.

June 1st - Day Zero
Austin, TX - After a year of training and preparation, the LIVESTRONG Texas 4000 team will receive a first class Texas salute as they bike through Austin for their unofficial sendoff on their 4,500-mile fundraising ride to Anchorage, Alaska. The students will start at The University of Texas with brief messages from several Austin dignitaries. Immediately following, the riders will wind their way through the city to LIVESTRONG headquarters, their next sendoff location and conclude with a luncheon celebration at Jack & Adams Bicycle shop.

Take this opportunity to get to know the riders one last time before they make their journey to Alaska. Drinks and appetizers will be served and top fundraisers for the Atlas ride will be recognized at this event.

August 24th - Texas 4000 Homecoming Bash
Austin, Texas - The 2012 LIVESTRONG Texas 4000 riders will be toasted and roasted by their team mates and friends and family. The evening will conclude as the 2012 team is inducted as alumni of Texas 4000.
