I am 22 and have lived most of my good life in North Texas. As a daughter of immigrants from India, I’ve probably seen more Bollywood movies than is good for me. I’m studying business at UT and am a big nerd for my supply chain classes. I hope to pursue a career in business sustainability upon graduation. My favorite memories are of lazy summers spent cuddling with my granny in India. I’d like to spend a few years living in India, but honestly I have yet to find a place that feels more like home than Texas. Love, joy, and humility guide my life.

I ride for all those cancer patients who do not have their friends and family by their side. In my life, I’ve been extremely blessed to have very few loved ones affected by cancer or life threatening disease. What few serious health concerns there have been, have always caused an army of Mehtas to go to the aid of whomever is ill. It occurs to me, however, that not all people in this world are blessed with large families or an extensive network of friends, especially as they age. It is for these people that I ride. These wonderful human beings who show extra strength and resilience as they fight disease and face the hurdles of life. It’s an inspiring thought to know that people like that exist in this world. I hope to call on that strength as I ride.
